Founded in 1902 by François Bessière, the company quickly built itself a solid reputation as a trader of high-quality Languedoc-Roussillon wines.

Today, Bessière has ultra-modern facilities allowing the company to control the quality of its wines at each stage in the production process. As well as its fully automated bottling line with a capacity of 12,000 bottles an hour, Bessière boasts an ageing cellar with several hundred barrels and an immense, 2,500-m2 stone-built cellar with temperature and humidity control, where over one million bottles can be stored in ideal conditions.

Producta has been established since 1949 and is a major producer of wines from Bordeaux. Originally founded in 1891 the company has been owned and run by the Sauvestre family for four generations. The domaine covers over 350 hectares from Chablis to Meursault with two 'Grand Cru' and twelve 'Premier Cru' wines. Chartron & Trebuchet, also now owned by Vincent Sauvestre, are a very highly respected company specialising in the vinification and ageing of great Burgundy wines.
